The usual way to play bingo is to daub the number that come up on the screen until you have one line, two lines or a full house. However, in recent years, a new form of bingo has appeared that has become very popular amongst players. This new bingo requires you to make a certain pattern on your card in order to achieve a bingo. There are no different sections, unlike normal bingo, it is literally just a case of, if you get the pattern on your card, you have won. It is essentially just missing out the lines, and going straight to the full house.
These games are often bigger than the traditional bingo games, especially on big sites like Sky Bingo. Paddy Power Bingo and Wink Bingo are quite popular for these pattern bingo games, and many users enjoy this type of game more because it is literally just a one-call game.
Patterns can range from anything from letters of the alphabet to random everyday objects; tennis rackets, glasses, cat faces, dog faces, literally anything that can be made into an image on a bingo card.
This kind of bingo is usually called 75 ball bingo, and it was imported recently from America into the UK. The UK has always played the traditional 90 ball bingo, but this 75 ball pattern bingo has really caught on in recent years.
As mentioned above, 75 ball bingo rules are a bit different to traditional bingo rules in that there is no lines or corners or anything like that, you just have to daub all the right numbers in order to make an image or a pattern on the card. While this isn’t played in bingo halls across the country, it has become one of the biggest games on the internet and players are seemingly starting to enjoy this form of bingo more than traditional bingo!
